Fire Schemes Administrator

Our scope of activity includes the certification of organisations supplying security systems and services, fire safety equipment and services and alarm monitoring. The company currently has a vacancy for a full-time administrator to help with the planning and organisation of audit and certification activities for the following schemes:

•Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting and Emergency Evacuation Systems

•Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers

•Life Safety Fire Risk Assessments

Duties will include liaising regularly with SSAIB clients and applicant firms to ensure we have the correct information and then making arrangements for assessing the firms by our team of auditors who are based throughout the UK

This role will suit a confident person who can work both as an individual and as part of a team. The successful applicant must have experience within a customer service environment, excellent telephone and communication skills, good record keeping and an eye for detail, and be confident with MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook). Training will be provided.

The position is office based at the SSAIB’s offices in West Monkseaton, Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear.
